For $155 per person, ATRIO restaurant is hosting a five-course dinner with an optional wine pairing. Plus, you’ll enjoy live music by Ari Why and the Invisible College, and you can watch the ball drop the best way — on TV via a live feed. Just before midnight, head up to the Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar for a champagne toast.

Start your night off with the Delectable Jazz Dinner ($75 per person, four-course and prix-fixe) and then move on to party elsewhere. Or spend the entire night at the hotel with its Supper Club Party, which kicks off at 9 p.m. for an evening of dinner, dancing and live jazz music. It’ll run you $125 per person, and reservations are required. Stay overnight with the Ring in 2014 package that includes accommodations, $50 food-and-beverage credit and late check-out for $289 per night.

New Year’s Eve at The White Barn Inn will be full of drama. The Kennebunkport, Maine, hotel’s romantic Broadway-themed celebration combines fine dining, singing, dancing and plenty of toasts to 2014. You’ll start with canapés at the bar and then sit down to a six-course dinner with piano entertainment until 10:30 p.m., at which point performers hit the stage for a masquerade show. Chef Jonathan Cartwright leads the midnight toast and then takes guests on a special kitchen tour to finish off the night. Cost is $290 per person.
