There are about nine of my and my husband's old T-shirts just waiting to be braided into a beautiful hairpiece. Unfortunately, they are collecting dust until I find the time and patience to make this five-strand braided beauty.
Adorable and probably really easy, this pin would require me to both collect beads and safety pins. Both of which I probably wouldn't end up using anyway.
Hand-crafted and painted, these shoes are super-cute. But this design looks like it takes a really steady hand and a lot of time — both of which I do not have.
There is no doubt that I am head-over-heels in love with this knock-off Pottery Barn stenciled pillow. However, I'd have to find or make the linen pillow and then go in search of that letter stencil. (Which I am pretty sure I owned at the age of 6).
I know the exact place that I would place these DIY photo letters but I haven't printed pictures since 2011!
I have the spaghetti jars just sitting in my cupboard, so I definitely have the materials to bring this pin to fruition. But I'm not quite ready to replace what I already have in my bathroom, so I'll be saving this pin for a rainy day (or until one of my current jars break).
I am a total Instagram lover, so when I saw a craft that includes my favorite photo source, I pinned it without question. Then I read the directions...
Last year I got my very first fancy camera and to commemorate the occasion, I pinned about 20 DIY camera straps. Ten months later, I haven't made a one.
This art craft is very pretty and would look fabulous in any home. But can someone please tell me where to find doilies... other than the antique store?
I saw the lattice fabric curtains at Target and immediately went home to find my own DIY version. After seeing that I would have to purchase plain curtains for only a few dollars less and need the fortitude to stencil the 84 inches of fabric, I headed right back to Target and bought two panels.
Sometimes I pin things knowing that my husband wouldn't approve of them in my home, just so that I can look at them when I'm feeling all girly and pink inside.
I haven't done the ruffle pillow because I have a husband, but I haven't crafted this white-on-white canvas art because I have kids. One look at this minimal art piece and somehow their yogurt fingerprints would get all over them.
There is no doubt that these burlap rosettes would look perfect on my kitchen windowsill, but until I find the perfect vase, they'll continue looking pretty on my pin boards.
This would be fabulous for our beach vacay pics, but I'm a bit more shy when asking my local hardware store for stir sticks than this blogger is.
It isn't that I don't like Sharpie mugs, it's that I haven't found the right mug. Or that I just forget to buy them when I'm at the dollar store.
How cute is this scarf? Not to mention easy and cheap! But I'm not exactly a scarf wearer...
A hack of the original Urban Outfitters' hair elastics, there are DIY versions all over the web. Pin though I might, DIY though I might not. When I saw I had to order the elastic, I figured it was much simpler just to head to my local retailer.
As soon as I learn how to knit, I am so making these!
My kids would love these cute little glowing jars... until they drop them and I have glowing goo on my patio.
This headboard looks uh-mazing! But comfortable? Not so much.
I absolutely adore the look of this DIY magazine artwork, I just don't think I have the patience to find and glue the right pieces to the canvas.
How 1950s housewife-perfect is this frilly apron? It's so awesome that I even have the fabric to make it. But in my fabric drawer it sits as I await the time to cut and sew the pieces together.
I still have plans to make this wonderful workout T-shirt, I just need the perfect thrifted tee before I can bring it to reality.
This ruffle tote is great for carrying around books, kiddo toys and more... but I wouldn't know; I carry around a bag from the same color scheme I found at Target.
The title of this tutorial is "Wanna make a dress?" And I do, I just haven't... maybe next year.
Please tell me I'm not alone. What projects have you pinned this year that still remain on the "to-do" list?
