The Craftiest Way To Make A Backpack Pop!

When it comes to going to school, one of the most needed items for your child is a typical backpack. Why not get artistic and make your child's backpack more distinctive? Here is a great way to decorate a backpack and put some fun in going back to school!

What you'll need:

  • Backpack
  • Cardboard letter stencils
  • Fabric paint
  • Painter's tape
  • Paper plate
  • Stencil brush

First, lay the backpack flat on your work surface. Then, place the stencils where you would like them and use the painter's tape to secure them in place.

Next, pour a small portion of the fabric paint onto the paper plate. Dip the stencil brush into the paint and dab the brush over the open stencil until it's covered completely.

Let the paint dry completely before removing the stencils. Once completely dry, you can then remove the stencils and see if any corrections or fixes need to be made.
