How to shape your eyebrows

#1/6: Step 1: Measure your browline properly
#1/6: Step 1: Measure your browline properly
"To measure correctly, hold your finger parallel to the side of your nose," says makeup expert Gail Sagel, founder and president of FACES Beautiful and creator of the Brush-On Liquid Mineral Makeup. "This is where your brow should begin. When you point your finger diagonally away from your nostril, toward the outside edge of your brow, you’ll find the correct end point."
#2/6: Step 2: Determine the arch
#2/6: Step 2: Determine the arch
"The angle of the eyebrow arch should be parallel to the angle of a person’s cheekbones," says Sagel. "This will give the illusion of height. The pinnacle of the arch should be made just on the outside of the pupil. If the highest point of the arch is located on the inside of the pupil, it will make the eyes look too close together."
#3/6: Step 3: Trim before plucking
#3/6: Step 3: Trim before plucking
Brush eyebrows upward using a brow brush, and then use small scissors to trim away any excessive length. If your brows still need work after the trim, you can start plucking.
#5/6: Step 5: Tweeze both the bottom and the top
#5/6: Step 5: Tweeze both the bottom and the top
“To create definition and shape, you must tweeze from both the bottom and the top of the brow," says Sagel.

Use your tweezers to remove obvious strays outside of your brow line. Tweeze along the natural shape of your brow, grabbing each hair at its root to avoid breakage.
