How to shape your eyebrows

#1/6: Step 1: Measure your browline properly
#1/6: Step 1: Measure your browline properly
"To measure correctly, hold your finger parallel to the side of your nose," says makeup expert Gail Sagel, founder and president of FACES Beautiful and creator of the Brush-On Liquid Mineral Makeup. "This is where your brow should begin. When you point your finger diagonally away from your nostril, toward the outside edge of your brow, you’ll find the correct end point."

#2/6: Step 2: Determine the arch
"The angle of the eyebrow arch should be parallel to the angle of a person’s cheekbones," says Sagel. "This will give the illusion of height. The pinnacle of the arch should be made just on the outside of the pupil. If the highest point of the arch is located on the inside of the pupil, it will make the eyes look too close together."
#4/6: Step 4: Pluck hairs in the direction they grow

"Pluck hairs in the direction they grow, invest in a great pair of slanted tweezers and give yourself lots of light," says Sagel. Apply ice to your brows to numb the area before you begin tweezing only if you are very sensitive to pain.
#6/6: Step 6: Fill in with powder

"Go slowly and take breaks, making sure that you are not eliminating too much hair –- bold brows are in!" says Sagel. When you are done tweezing, use brow powder that matches the color of your natural brows to fill in any gaps and to add definition to your brows.
