Step 1: In between two brows
The odds are your eyebrows are naturally in the perfect spot in proportion to your features, so don’t go shaving them off and drawing them back on in shapes that resemble the McDonald’s sign. The first important thing to point out is that they are called “eyebrows,” plural — there should be two. Imagine a straight line or place a makeup brush or pencil on either side of the bridge of your nose going up toward your hairline in order to create this line. Your eyebrows should not cross this line. You also want to make sure they don’t come too short of this line.
Step 2: Arches and endings
The arch of your eyebrows can be found by imagining that same straight line. Where the line hits your brow is where you will likely find your natural arch. Your eyebrows should end where this line aligns with the outermost edge of your nose and the corner of your eye.

Step 3: A good trim
Like the hair on the rest of your body, your eyebrow hairs grow. If your brows just can’t be tamed, it is likely that the hair is too long. Using a lash brush, comb your eyebrows up toward your hairline and very carefully trim the excess. Be careful not to cut too much; just take a little off the top. Use your tweezers to pluck any rogue hairs.
Step 4: Fill them in
Because many women aren’t born with perfectly full or thick brows, this makes filling them in the most important step. You can use an angled brush and eyebrow wax, eye shadow or an eyebrow pencil, all in shades that closely match your hair color. Be sure to make soft, feathered strokes to achieve a more natural look. You can always add more if needed. What’s really going to bring your eyebrows to the next level is symmetry. You want your brows to be as identical as possible without looking fake. Remember, a little bit will go a long way!
