Cute Fall Wreath Made Of Book Pages

Looking for a unique wreath for your front door that doesn't look like your neighbor's? Instead of buying a cookie cutter wreath from your local department store, why not make one with stuff you already have at home? This wreath is made with book pages that have been lightly painted in fall colors, which give the wreath a fun, unique and vintage flair. Who said books were just for reading?

Hate that cheesy romance novel your mother-in-law gave you? Instead of letting it take up space on your bookshelf, rip out the pages and make this beautiful fall wreath! You can customize the size and colors of the wreath for any season so you can have a new wreath for every occasion!

Materials

What you'll need:

  • 10 to 12-inch wreath form
  • Book pages
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Watercolor paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Hot glue gun

Step 1: Trace leaf design on a book page

Group your book pages together in stacks of five to 10, then fold the pages in half.

Sketch a leaf design on the pages.

You just need to sketch the design onto the top page.

Step 2: Cut leaves out of pages

Cut out the leaf design. You want to cut through all of the pages (it'll make your craft time shorter and the project easier).

Awww such a cute idea! I'm decorating for fall today, and I'm somehow going to have to incorporate this wreath into my decor. Love it, thanks for the guide on how to make it!

This is an awesome idea! I'm a huge quotes fan, so I'd probably print some of my favorite quotes and sayings and make a wreath out of that. Thanks for the fun idea, I can't wait to give this one a try!
