Andie MacDowell, Mark Ballas, Carly Patterson, Kelly Bensimon, Natalie Coughlin and George Jones gave viewers a personal look at the spaces they love. Decide which celebrity home is your favorite sanctuary away from Hollywood -- you might be pleasantly surprised to see where some of these stars actually live.
Andie MacDowell
The award-winning actress has a traditional Tudor-style home in Asheville, North Carolina. The house boasts almost 11,000 square feet, with stunning views of the rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. MacDowell created a family home focused around the lives of her three children. You won't find any tributes to her celebrity life in the decor -- instead, she showcases photos of her children among comfortable gathering areas and a huge kitchen.
Mark Ballas
The Dancing with the Stars champion used musical accents to decorate his West Hollywood bachelor pad. He may be best known for strutting his stuff on DWTS, but he's actually a talented musician, too -- from Kurt Cobain tribute artwork to creating acoustically pleasing rooms, Ballas made his home a music-lover's paradise.
Natalie Coughlin
The swimmer and 11-time Olympic medalist designed a modern home nestled in the hills of San Francisco's East Bay area. Coughlin incorporates clean lines with warm tones to create a tranquil and cozy vibe.
Kelly Bensimon
The former star of Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York City has a loft in Tribeca with modern decor and eclectic accents. Bensimon loved decorating with one-of-a-kind pieces and incorporating artwork created by her young daughters.
George Jones
The country music legend has a 78-acre estate just outside of Nashville. His traditional home is filled with photos and memorabilia of his career and life (Jones has recorded over 100 albums). The grounds of the estate are filled with gorgeous trees and gardens because the singer loves to work outside.
Carly Patterson
The Olympic Gold medalist and singer showed us her first condo since leaving the nest. Patterson didn't stray too far from home, and enlisted the help of her mom with decorating the two-bedroom pad that showcases modern and traditional accents.
