Organize your brief case

Once you leave your office, your briefcase becomes a portable desk, cabinet and closet. If you invest some time and planning into it,
you can make your work life less stressful and more efficient.

Here's how:

  • Assign sections of your briefcase to hold specific folders. Reserve the front for items that require immediate action.
  • Put papers into colored folders and sort by subject matter before stowing them in your briefcase.

Bonus Tip:

Schedule a regular monthly time to clean out your briefcase.

I absolutely LOVE the folding clothes analogy. It is so true. And using a master list for the week is sheer genius. I have daily lists but a weekly list and transfer routine will make it all the more efficient!
