I'm not a fan of cleaning. I mean, who is, really? But I tend to put it off until either I just can't stand the mess anymore, or I know someone is coming to visit.
What follows is a frantic, full day of cleaning every surface of my house and relocating hundreds of tiny piles of toys and accumulated junk. All to make said guest think I actually have my life together — if only they knew.
Not long ago, I realized those high-speed cleaning sessions could be totally avoided if I just actually did have things together, at least as far as my house goes. Hence, the daily cleaning schedule entered my world.
Cleaning just a little bit every day keeps everything somewhat in order and totally manageable, so I don't have to panic when my mom says she's going to swing by later. It may seem like a pain to clean something every single day, but it won't take you long to realize that just a few minutes every day is so much better than your entire Saturday, right?
Split up the tasks below to include everyone in your household, and they'll fly by even faster.
