Cheryl from New House to Home shows us that decorating a fall family room is as simple as adding small accents. Using her mantel to display a variety of pumpkins, Cheryl turned her family room into an inviting fall space. Adorned with autumn-hued candles and rustic-hued pillows, Cheryl's fireplace is welcoming and homey for those chilly fall nights. We love the vases filled with wheat and fall brush that bring this space together perfectly.

Want the perfect fall decor? Take Julia's look from Hooked on Houses and just add orange! Using a ginger-colored throw pillow and like-hued accents on the mantel, Julia's family room has a great feel of autumn comfort. We love the wooden orange tray filled with warm luminaire lights and a mini whitewashed pumpkin on Julia's plush ottoman that add a welcoming vibe to her fall family room decor.
Upon a Dream

A true blue fan of fall, Shannon from Upon a Dream had her fall family room decorations up by October 1. Keeping up with already-there decor, Shannon added small autumn accents for a warm touch. With two small girls, Shannon wanted to not only create an inviting space for the adults to relax, but a fun space for the kids to play. We love that Shannon used books and candy corn in addition to neutral-colored pumpkins for her awesome autumn accents, not to mention the vintage Dr. Pepper tray, which is an adorable inflection of fall red.
The Yellow Cape Cod

Looking chic for fall, Sarah at The Yellow Cape Cod was able to keep her gorgeous black interior by adding light orange accents to her family room. The tangerine throw pillows make this elegant space cozy and comfortable for autumn lounging. Small pumpkins, a huge spider and large candle pillars keep up with the dramatic yet warm vibe. We love her DIY oversized monogram, family silhouettes and banner that make Sarah's mantel not only fall ready, but prepared for a smashing and scary Halloween bash.
