Natural Elements

Alissa Ditta of 33 Shades of Green put together this natural elements tablescape using glass hurricane vases, a bag of moss, mini grapevine wreaths, candles and succulents. This gorgeous spread can be used during any time of the year. Keeping the vases low makes it a great option for a dinner party, since it doesn't obstruct anyone's view.

Both metallic shades and woodland creatures have been growing in popularity the last few years, so why not combine them both for a look that's right on trend? Jennifer from Dimples & Tangles did exactly that when she paired a few DIY faux copper planters with an owl statue. A few potted plants complete this nature-chic look.

Nikki Wills from Tikkido wanted an autumn-inspired look for her rehearsal dinner. She got creative with organic material and created beautiful decor on a budget. "I used some grocery store flowers, miniature pumpkins and fruit, and leaves and grasses (ahem, weeds) gathered from the yard," she explains. "All of the floral arrangements and decor were made for under $25."

This seaside-inspired spread was created using a combination of evergreen branches and beach accents. Starfish and various seashells give the centerpiece a beachy feel. Mercury glass ornaments add a touch of sparkle, while burlap ribbon keeps the centerpiece casual. When selecting shells for decorating the table, designer Marian Parsons of Mustard Seed Interiors suggests keeping the scale, color and texture in mind.
