We All Scream For Ice Cream... Cake!

It looks like fresh dipped ice cream with all the toppings, but it's actually a compote of cupcake baked in your oven and swirled with your favorite colorful frosting! It tastes so rich and yummy you might not realize you're not licking your favorite ice cream flavor! Fill a table with colored frostings, fruits, sprinkles and other favorite toppings to have a "decorate your own" sweet treats party for your child's next birthday or funday! Step onePreheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2
Step twoPrepare your favorite cake batter from scratch or from a mix. 3
Step threeStand your cones up in a muffin pan to keep them from falling over and fill each cone a little more than halfway with your batter. This is important because we want the cupcakes to rise enough to look like a dip of ice cream but not so much that it runs over the sides.

Step fourBake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool. 5
Step fiveWhen completely cooled, decorate them with colored frosting and your favorite toppings.

Step sixFinish them off with a little white frosting piped to look like whipped cream with a big red cherry plopped on the top!
