10 Steps To Make
It Fabulous By Friday

The royal wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton will take place this Friday, April 29. But just because you can't make it to the other side of the pond to see Kate and William exchange vows doesn't mean you can't still have a fabulous time. Grab your girlfriends, find the house with the biggest television screen and throw your own royal wedding viewing party! Here are 10 tips to help pull it together by Friday.

Decor made simple with flowers

I think we'd all agree that the quickest, easiest way to decorate for a last-minute party is with flowers. Big bunches of gorgeous roses around your house will amp up the glam factor in a blink of a eye. Want to kick it up a notch? Check out this royally inspired decor.

7Plan some down-time activities

Without a doubt, there will be moments during this event that will be a bit slow. Have a few activities in your back pocket to pull out and keep the energy up at the party. How about a contest to see who can predict the length of Kate's train? Or pick up some craft supplies and glitter and have a tiara-making competition.

8Set up a photo booth

Pin a big white sheet up in a corner (those super-sticky adhesive strips work great), grab some funny props like crowns, swords, wedding veils and fake bouquets and get your camera clicking! This is especially hilarious if you're all dressed in old bridesmaid dresses (see No. 5 above).

9Royal parting gifts

Every fabulous wedding deserves fabulous parting gifts for its guests. The bride and groom will be giving their guests beautiful custom-made scarves as favors -- depending on your party budget, you could pick up some knockoffs from your local retailer that your guests will surely love!

10Don't forget the after parties

Just like the Academy Awards and Grammys, most major networks will also be hosting re-cap shows later in the day Friday. Some of the more entertainment-focused channels will be discussing the royal fashion choices in detail, which you won't want to miss. Don't forget to come back and visit the SheKnows Inside the Royal Wedding guide for our recaps of the event as well!

I probably won't be watching it live, but I plan to record it and watch it later with a bottle of champagne!

I want to have tea and champagne!
