Cool Down Ideas
If you are lucky/misfortunate enough to be in the midst of a hot, hot summer, here are some summer heat tips on how to cool down. Remember: Horses sweat, men perspire but women gently glow :)

8. A reason to visit your hairstylist!
Shorter hair would help but if you would prefer longer hair, have it layered. Lighter hair would allow more breezes through.
9. Fresh flowers and indoor plants
These wonderful greens create a cooling effect. Visit a florist and bring back a plant. You do not have to have magical green fingers to do this.
10. Slow it down
Vigorous movements will create more heat in your body. This would be a good time to rest and take it easy.
11. Cook outside
Cooking in kitchens will trap more heat inside. Instead, have outdoor cooking in the nature. It would be nice to just roll in the grass and watch the stars after that.
12. Have lighter meals
Heavy meal tends to make you feel hot, usually not from the food itself. The more you eat, the more metabolisms your body has to burn. Instead, have small portion of meals! It is a plus point for those who are body conscious.
13. Can't sleep? Consider a wet towel duvet.
Mooky mademoiselles in temperate climates will not need to sleep under a wet towel. But if you find yourself experiencing near-danger levels of hot this summer - the levels that make you avail yourself of three cold showers a day and not think it enough, the levels that make radio stations yelp out heat-related panic warnings - then replace your duvet with a towel soaked in cold water. Cooling and soothing, this will keep down your core temperature. And if you wake up to find the heat has dried your towel and you're gently glowing all over the place from the sultry night, simply soak the towel again...
My final advice: If all the above fail, go to the mall, library, movie theatre or some other non-green air-conditioned public building. You're not failing at being eco-friendly - they are. Keep it cool and have a fun summer!
