Jim Anderson, Father Knows Best

Father Knows Best aired in the 1950s, but it's still a classic. Jim Anderson is dad to three children -- Betty, Bud and Kathy -- with his wife, Margaret. Although family life is much different today, this episode goes to show that dads will always be protective of their little girls – especially when it comes to boys.

This list kind of sucks... No Dan Conner from Roseanne or Phillip Banks from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air? Come on, show some love for the 90s.
