For the Love of Plaid

Blues, purples, and plenty of plaid dress this holiday green. Choose a few varieties of ribbon -- the same kind you would use for gift-wrapping -- in the color palette of your choice. Fabric ribbon works best. Tie into bows and place along branches of the tree. You can nestle them into the greens, but if you prefer to secure them, consider using a thin ornament hook. Gently hook one end through the back side of the knot and twist the other end around the branch. For a finishing touch, add metallic ornaments of the same palette.

The pictures of the whole room were great, but it would have been nice to see close up views of the ornaments and garlands as well.

I want my Christmas tree to be blue, brown and bronze. Is it ok to use white, clear and different shades of blues with this color scheme. My garland is royal blue but I have other blue ornaments. Some are light blue and medium blue. What is your opinion. Im going with a rich look. Thanks for your time.
