Heart Of Gold
With the holiday season around the corner, we're all feeling that little extra warmth in our hearts. Use those feelings to bring good cheer with a kind gesture or 42. And whether the gestures are random or intentional, a bit of kindness can go a long way, even if you have only five seconds or an entire day to give.

Volunteer in your child's classroom
Take some time to help out your kiddo's teacher with a bit of your precious time.
Offer a couple tight on cash a night of babysitting... on the house! And if you can squeeze it in, throw a gift card in for a fun night on the town.
Are you good at math, reading, science or any other school subject? Offer up some of your free time to tutor a child who needs some extra TLC in school.
Sift through clothing & toys
Go through your family's clothing, toys and extras to donate. Places like Goodwill, St. Vincent DePaul and more are always looking for gently used items to sell and give to those in need.
Have a friend who lives too far away for a short visit? Stop by for a surprise visit or even take the time to invite them out for a long lunch.
Clean a friend's house
If you have a friend who is super busy and longs for a clean house, walking into their dream would be the perfect gift.
Volunteer at a children's hospital
Children's hospitals are always looking for volunteers to gather crafts, sort through donations, read books and play games with children. Give them a call and see what you can do to help.
