Heart Of Gold
With the holiday season around the corner, we're all feeling that little extra warmth in our hearts. Use those feelings to bring good cheer with a kind gesture or 42. And whether the gestures are random or intentional, a bit of kindness can go a long way, even if you have only five seconds or an entire day to give.

Leave $1 on a Redbox
Have a $1 bill in your pocket, leave it at the Redbox, and allow a stranger to enjoy a movie on you.
Send a postcard
Snail mail is a thing of the past. So, surprise someone special with a lovely postcard with your thanks and praise.
Tell the manager
Receive exceptional service? Take a few minutes to let that person's manager know!
Not every special or difficult moment in life receives the recognition it deserves. Think of a friend who needs something in their life, like a mom returning back to work after having a baby or someone who recently reached a weight-loss goal.
Get to know your barista
Are you a regular at a local coffee shop or even a gym? Take an extra five minutes to chat up the person behind the counter. Ask about their kids or simply if they have any weekend plans (if the line permits, of course).
Allow someone to cut in
Not in a huge rush in the grocery line but see someone who is? Allow them to go in front of you, just because.
Make a pot of coffee
It's one of the most annoying feelings when you go to fill up your coffee cup and there's nothing left. Make an extra pot so no one in the office needs to feel decaffeinated.
