Easy Halloween treat bags

Feeling crafty? These Halloween treat sacks are a cinch to make, and they work perfectly as party favors or "boo" bags to leave on neighbors' doorsteps (if "booing" is a tradition in your hood).

Halloween paper craft treat bags


  • Small paper bags
  • Decorative card stock of choice, 2 colors
  • Glue
  • Candy
  • Scissors
  • Craft eyes



Cut top of paper bag into rounded half circle.


Using extra paper bags, cut 2 half circles for wings.
Take decorative card stock and cut out feathers.
Layer feathers onto half circles and glue side by side onto the bag to form wings.

Fold rounded top half of paper bag over the top of wings.
Cut out eyes and add craft eyeballs.
Cut out beak using same decorative paper and glue onto bag.

Load up bag with candy.
