Dara Torres Sets Two Records in One Day
At age 42, Dara Torres set two records in one day at the Texas Senior Circuit No. 2 meet at Texas A&M. In the morning preliminaries on May 22, 2009, she set an American record for the women's 50 meter butterfly with a time of 25.84 seconds, then bested it with a time of 25.72 seconds in the evening.
