You wear the pink ribbon pin, pass breast cancer info to your BFFs, and maybe even participate in your local Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. But if you're still feeling like you need to do more, we recommend Beats for Boobs, a fun event featuring art, fashion, food and music. Beats for Boobs is being held in three cities this year and will continue its mission to support locally focused breast cancer organizations. Here's more on the Beats for Boobs events.
Beats for Boobs 2011
Beats for Boobs, an all-volunteer organization, will honor its eighth year of uniting communities, artists, educators and activists for breast cancer prevention and awareness with three events.
This year, SheKnows is sponsoring the The Beats for Boobs event in Los Angeles, a new addition to the Beats for Boobs line-up. It will be held in the heart of West Hollywood on the Sunset Strip at The Key Club, a premier venue whose stage has featured The Doors, Van Halen, Guns N' Roses and Prince.
If you're in the Los Angeles area on October 19, plan to spend the day with us and other supporters of the fight against breast cancer. You can purchase general admission tickets ($25) or VIP admission tickets ($60) here.
