The Women Heart Foundation relates that approximatly 8 million women in the US are currently living with heart disease. Many lifestyle factors are contributing to heart disease such as cigarette smoking, alcohol intake, physical inactivity, and obesity just to name a few. Here a 4 tips to help prevent heart disease.

Go for a walk
Simple, convenient and free, going for a 30 minute walk can improve your heart health as well as ward off obesity, diabetes and osteoporosis. Step it up to a jog and you'll reap even more health benefits. And on the days you aren't in the mood for walking, consider a swim, hike or even a home exercise video. Just move and do your heart good.
