It provides you with three different, high-intensity, 20-minute workouts so you can get better results in a shorter amount of time. They're at different levels, so you can work your way through them over the 30 days. Jillian uses a circuit format, where you do three minutes of strength, followed by two minutes of cardio and then one minute of ab work. Jillian invents many of her own moves and uses unique combinations of common moves so your body will be challenged in new ways. And that makes big results more likely.

Though we'd all love to have the lean and toned figures of ballerinas, that result might be somewhat out of reach considering they spend hours upon hours each day training. But you can get a little closer to that goal with the help of the New York City Ballet: The Complete Workout. Some of the moves might be a little complex to follow at first, but that makes sticking with it even more satisfying. Because the more you do it, the more confident you'll feel with the skills you're developing. Plus, you'll be hard pressed to find the intricate stretches and balance exercises the DVD incorporates anywhere else.

If what you're looking for is a serious, high-intensity workout, Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease probably isn't the way to go. But if you want to feel more comfortable in your body, learn some sexy moves and generally have a good time, then it's certainly worth your time. You'll get a little bit of toning, a little bit of cardio and also get to practice your dance moves.
