Plan for extras. While cooking spaghetti with meat sauce, turkey chili or chicken and rice casserole, add more servings to save. Freeze extra protein for tacos, chicken salad, casseroles, stir fry, paninis or easy Italian hoagies. Cooking once for multiple meals is a savvy chef’s smartest move.
