Every Mother’s Day, moms across the nation get to look forward to a relaxing breakfast in bed. But any seasoned mom knows what this really means — kids breaking eggs on the floor, spilling flour and potentially burning themselves, all in the name of honoring Mom.

With sweet little kiddos, it’s always the thought that counts. But we have to ask, is a Mother’s Day breakfast-mageddon really worth it?
