In the interview with E!'s Marc Malkin, Chastain says, "I had to be soft and curvy, so I ate a lot of soy. Soy helps you become curvy because it has estrogen in it. So what I would do—and this is really gross—is buy cartons of soy ice scream, microwave it and drink it."

Chastain put on about 15 pounds for the movie but she is back to her normal weight. The vegan celebrity credits her vegan diet and yoga for quickly losing her movie weight.
