How to make your own nut butter

Visit your local health food store or supermarket bulk section and purchase your favorite raw nuts. You can use any neutral-flavored oil to make nut butter or you can use a nut-flavored oil that matches your preferred nut.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups raw nuts

  • 2 tablespoons oil

  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)


Directions:

  1. Place nuts and oil (and salt, if using) in a food processor or blender and pulse to chop nuts.

  2. Blend on high until creamy.

  3. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
