Maple Madness

Makes 1

"The Maple Madness cocktail is by far one of our top sellers at D Bar," says Fernandez. "The flavors of this cocktail bring an element of the kitchen into the cocktail glass. The essence of the sweet syrup really stimulates an appetite to one’s palate."

Ingredients:

  • Smoked salt or sea salt

  • 2-1/2 ounces Flor de Caña 7 year rum

  • 1/2 ounce maple syrup

  • 2 Dashes liquid smoke


Directions:

  1. Salt rim of a small rocks glass and add ice.

  2. Add Flor de Caña, maple syrup, and liquid smoke to a shaker with ice.

  3. Vigorously shake and strain into prepared glass. Serve immediately.
