Boozy Popsicles, or poptails as they are often called, are growing in popularity. It's no mystery why these fun, frozen treats make anyone look like an entertaining superhero with very little work. Use your favorite fruits or berries to make these your own.
The weather is starting to warm up, parties are moving onto the patio and summer get-togethers are on the horizon. Use the power of your freezer to create adults-only Popsicles that are fun, refreshing and unforgettable.
Summer berry mojito poptails recipe
10 mint leaves
1/2 cup lime juice
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup rum
1 cup frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries or raspberries)
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and process until well combined, about 3 minutes.
Pour into Popsicle molds, insert sticks.
Freeze for 3 hours or until solid.
These are for adults only, so make sure to keep these out of reach of little hands. If you are making a batch of kid-friendly pops, use colored sticks to differentiate the alcoholic version from the kid-safe pops. (Kids like the colored sticks better, so use those fun colors for the kids and "boring" wood sticks for the adults).
