Prep your suppliesLine a 9 x 13-inch baking sheet with wax paper and prep the candy for your bark.

Melt and spread chocolateIn a medium bowl, melt your chocolate of choice slowly in the microwave, heating for about 30 seconds at a time and stirring. Repeat as needed until melted. Pour the melted chocolate onto prepared baking sheet and level chocolate with an offset spatula. (Don't spread chocolate too thin. You don't need to cover the whole cookie sheet.)

Add candyWhile chocolate is still warm, sprinkle with candy, then tap the baking sheet on the table to set the candy in. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until bark is completely hard.

Break barkWhen chocolate is set, break bark into pieces.

Package it up and give a giftPackage in a cellophane bag and tie with a ribbon for a cute Valentine's Day gift.
