Fresh blood oranges are best but many grocery stores sell bottled blood orange juice during the winter months.

Blood orange mojito recipe

Serves 1

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup blood orange juice
• 1 tablespoon lime juice
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 ounce rum
• 1/4 cup sparkling water
• 1 tablespoon fresh mint

Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients and serve chilled with ice.
