Martinis are not only made with gin, traditional ones are made with vodka also.….....and I would rim this one with finely crushed bacon. Gotta try this!

I would say my husband would probably love this. I definitely would NOT. I like bacon, but not in a drink!

Of course its not a "real" martini, just as all the mixology cocktails being sold as martinis everywhere are not, but this is the nrw age of cocktails and sounds delish. Made it this morning and love it! There is nothing too sweet about it unless you find maple kissed whiskey too sweet, since the maple syrup is added only to taste. Delish!

This actually sounds way too sweet. Granted I am not a fan of super sweet drinks. Lastly there is nothing about this that makes it a Martini ( which is made of Gin ) or to a previous comment a Mimosa ( OJ & Champagne ).

This is like the guy version of a Mimosa... I will have to suggest this to my fiance for the morning of our wedding, he can make these for his guys while I make Mimosas for the girls!
