How to Melt chocolate

Chocolate can be melted on the stovetop or the microwave. On the stovetop add 1 cup water to small saucepan, put a medium-size heatproof bowl over the saucepan. Put saucepan over medium heat, add chocolate to bowl and stir until chocolate is melted. This method of cooking helps the chocolate melt without burning. To microwave your chocolate, add to microwave safe bowl and cook on high stiring every 15 seconds. It should take a 2 to 3 minutes for your chocolate to be completely melted.
