Breakfast: Bananas Foster waffles
Ingredients:
- KRUPS' signature waffle recipe (previous page)
- 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- 6 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
Directions:
- Follow the instructions for KRUPS' signature waffles on the previous page.
- In a large skillet, combine corn syrup, brown sugar, maple syrup and pecans.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat, and simmer for two minutes.
- Add banana slices and rum extract. Coat with the syrup mixture and simmer one minute.
- Spoon over waffles and serve immediately.
Lunch: Peanut butter and jelly waffles
Ingredients:
- KRUPS' signature waffle recipe (previous page)
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup raspberry preserves
- Fresh berries for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- Follow the instructions for KRUPS' signature waffles on the previous page.
- Spoon peanut butter and jelly over warm waffles and serve immediately.
