Fruity, frothy and perfectly sweet

Celebrate National Creamsicle Day on Aug. 14 with this refreshing, sparkling beverage sure to please every age group.

Fruity, frothy and perfectly sweet

In light of National Creamsicle Day, we thought we'd honor this American classic with a twist on its familiar orange and vanilla flavors. Creamsicles were invented by the brand Popsicle, but became so popular that they took on a name of their own. This drink will take you back to the hot summer days of your youth, when ice cream trucks and lemonade stands were common on the streets.

Serve this simple, sparkling treat at your next summer barbecue or child's birthday party. We like Sparkling ICE because it contains vitamins and antioxidants and because it's lightly carbonated, blending perfectly with ice cream and sherbet in this fizzy drink.

Sparkling ice

Yields approximately 20-24 servings

  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 1 quart sherbet
  • 8 to 12 (17 ounce) bottles Orange Mango Sparkling ICE, chilled

  1. Mix all ingredients together in large punch bowl. Let ice cream soften a little before serving.

This recipe is great for a crowd, but can be easily cut in half for a smaller group.
