Domino’s is introducing a new crust for customers with gluten sensitivity at all of its 5,000 U.S. locations. While the crust is certified to be gluten-free by the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness, they are cautioning that those with celiac disease many not want to give this a try. Since the ovens and other food preparation surfaces may contain gluten, they can’t guarantee any pizza will be completely gluten-free.
Either way this is good news for the 18 million people who are sensitive to gluten or anyone who listened to Miley Cyrus’ attempt at medical advice when she said no one should eat gluten. That adds up to about 18 million and one. Gluten-free or not, we just want to know if the crust tastes good. Images of gluten-free pasta dissolving on our plates and bread that tastes a lot like cardboard makes us grateful we can stick with regular old pizza crust. Gluten-free pizzas will be available in small size only and the price will vary by store.

It’s time for some free ice cream. Haagen-Dazs is paying tribute to their loyal customers and the start of summer by offering a free scoop today in the flavor of your choice.
Between 4 and 8 p.m. today at Haagen-Dazs locations across the country, ice cream loving consumers can score a free cone. This comes not long after Ben and Jerry’s had their own Free Cone Day. We’re hoping Cold Stone picks up the holiday next and this free ice cream celebration continues throughout the summer. Head to the Haagen-Dazs Facebook page to find a location near you.

"Get the door, it's Domino's!" Those were the words I always heard in the chain restaurant's add which ran during the 11:45 pm time slot just as I was felling asleep every night. Those words seeped into my subconscious and prompted me to order a pizza from them whenever I was in a celebratory mood. Now that Domino's is going gluten-free, I have another reason to love their pizza.
