When the weather starts getting warm, the last thing you want to do is heat up the house by using the oven. These two delicious cakes show you how to use the ease of your refrigerator to aid in a delicious and totally mouthwatering cake!

Chocolate eclair cake recipe

Chocolate eclairs are one of the most popular pastries of all time. The flavors that you love all come together in this easy and no-bake icebox cake.

Yields one 9 x 13-inch cake

Ingredients:

• 1 tub whipped chocolate frosting
• 1 box instant vanilla pudding
• 1 container whipped topping
• Graham crackers

Directions:

1. Put one layer of graham crackers onto the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
2. Prepare vanilla pudding according to package directions. Gently fold in container of whipped topping and pour one-half of the pudding mixture over graham cracker layer.
3. Add another layer of graham crackers and pour remaining pudding mixture over top. Add final layer of graham crackers.
4. Gently frost the cake with whipped chocolate frosting and let sit, covered, in the fridge for at least four hours before serving. Keep refrigerated.

Strawberry chocolate cake recipe

Strawberries and chocolate are the ultimate pairing. Add in whipped topping and you have a dream come true! This simple and easy icebox cake will have your guests singing your praises!

Yields one 8 x 8-inch cake

Ingredients:

• Chocolate graham crackers
• 1 container whipped topping
• Sliced strawberries

Directions:

1. Add one layer of chocolate graham crackers on bottom of 8 x 8-inch dish.
2. Cover with a layer of whipped topping and top with sliced strawberries
3. Repeat layer two more times. On the last layer, make sure the strawberries are beautifully placed since this will be the topping.
4. Optional, drizzle the top with chocolate sauce.

*Note: Softened vanilla ice cream could be used in place of whipped topping. Store cake in freezer instead of the refrigerator.
