On the third day of Christmas...
French 75 recipe
Yields 1 drink
2 ounces dry gin
2 teaspoons superfine sugar
1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice (save the peel for the garnish)
Combine the dry gin with the superfine sugar and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with crushed ice. Shake well and strain into a Champagne flute.
Top with Champagne and garnish with a twist of lemon.
