Fork-Free, Bite-Sized Treats
A mini-version of dessert might make some people cringe. We like our post-meal indulgences huge and served with multiple forks. However, if you put those same desserts on a stick, suddenly they become trendy and completely acceptable.

Most of you are no strangers to cake pops. Chocolate covered balls of cake are making their way into birthday parties and celebrations everywhere, but there are several other dessert options that look just as fabulous on a stick. Dessert pops are perfect for entertaining as they serve as both a decoration and a treat. Many of your diet conscious friends may turn down a piece of cake, but they'll have a hard time avoiding one tempting bite on a stick. These desserts are also kid-friendly and can easily be made by your little helpers. Here are a few ways to make bite-sized desserts look adorable.
S'more pop
Ingredients:
- Marshmallows
- Chocolate candy coating or chocolate chips
- Graham cracker crumbs
- A candle
- Sticks
Directions:
- Put the marshmallow on the stick and carefully roast it using a candle. Then dip it in melted chocolate and top with graham cracker crumbs.

Apple pie pop
Ingredients:
- Pie crust
- Apples
- Cinnamon
- Brown sugar
- Butter
- Sticks
Directions:
- Cut pie crust into small squares. In the center of one square, place diced apples, a sprinkle of cinnamon, a sprinkle of brown sugar and a small piece of butter. Lay the stick on top of the mixture.
- Top with another square of crust and press the pieces together. Seal the sides by pressing it with a fork. Be sure the stick is secure. Make a small slit in the middle of the crust to allow steam to escape.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
Doughnut hole Pop
Ingredients:
- Doughnut holes
- Chocolate candy coating or chocolate chips
- Sprinkles, chopped nuts, coconut or topping of your choice
- Sticks
Directions:
- Dip the doughnut holes in melted chocolate and cover with sprinkles, nuts or a topping of your choice.

Strawberry shortcake pop
Ingredients:
- Angel food cake
- Strawberries
- Whipped Cream
- Sticks
Directions:
- Cut the cake into small pieces. Slice the strawberries. Layer the cake, strawberries and whipped cream on the stick.
