Invitations are a great way to get guests fired up for your party. If you are having a pool party or barbecue theme, why not send out invitations in the shape and color of a beach ball or a summer sandal (flip-flops)? You could even attach a toy water gun if you wanted to be a bit more elaborate. If you are having an Asian-themed party, you can send out boxed invitations in a paper Chinese take-out container. Inside, you can have the details of the party, enclose a fortune cookie and perhaps a few bags of jasmine tea. Don't be afraid to get creative!
