A quick, satisfying safe classic

The season of comfort food has officially arrived. But, most recipes for comfort food take such a long time to cook. Club sandwiches don't, though! If you're in a real hurry, stop by the grocery store and pick up a rotisserie chicken, some precooked bacon, and you're just minutes away from total dinner yumminess.

Classic Chicken Club Sandwich

  • 3 slices bread
  • 1/2 cup rotisserie chicken pieces
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 cup iceberg lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

Toast bread slices. Smear two of the slices with mayonnaise. Top one with chicken, tomato, and lettuce. Top a second slice with bacon. Stack all the slices together to make a 3-layer sandwich. Slice into triangles and hold together with a toothpick before serving.
