Grown-Up Ham & Cheese
Makes 2 sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 5 tablespoons butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 (6- to 7-inch) French baguettes, cut open lengthwise
- 1-1/2 pounds thinly sliced ham (leftover or lunchmeat)
- 6 to 8 slices Brie or Camembert
- 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
Directions:
- Mix butter with mustard, nutmeg, pepper and thyme. Spread butter mixture onto both sides of the bread. Top with a few slices of ham, cheese and cucumber.
