Super Bowl food & drink

No matter who wins the Super Bowl this year, make sure you throw a winning party with a few simple snacks, games and decorations. You don't have to have seats on the sidelines to enjoy rooting for your favorite team. With a few friends or family, you can enjoy the biggest game of the year from you own comfy couch. Here are some Super Bowl recipes and party tips.

Beer Battered Chicken Fingers

Serves 12

6 cups oil for frying
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup cold beer
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast halves sliced into 1-inch pieces

1. Heat oil in a deep fryer or deep skillet until it is 375 degrees F. In a wide shallow bowl, combine 2 cups of flour with baking soda. Mix in eggs and beer. Place the remaining 1 cup of flour in a separate bowl.

2. Dredge chicken strips in flour then dip in beer mixture. Place in hot oil and cook until golden brown, flipping as needed, about 6 to 8 minutes. Continue with all chicken until finished. Transfer to paper towels to drain. Serve with spicy mustard or blue cheese dipping sauce.
