Turn bananas Foster into a boozy shake packed full of ripe bananas and a touch of dark rum. It's the perfect use of all those brown bananas you have sitting on your counter. Who wants more banana bread when you can make this cocktail instead?

Boozy bananas Foster cocktail recipe

Serves 2

Total time: 5 minutes


  • 4 scoops vanilla bean ice cream
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup dark rum
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
  • Whipped topping
  • 1 pinch cinnamon


  1. To a blender, add the ice cream, banana, whole milk, rum and caramel sauce. Blend until smooth.
  2. Divide between 2 glasses, and top with whipped topping and cinnamon.
