Australian doughnut powerhouse Doughnut Time is celebrating its first birthday by calling for bakeries around the country to share their own epic doughnut creations.
Using the hashtag #DTProject, Doughnut Time has asked the top 20 bakers around Australia to join in the doughnut appreciation.
Bakers Andy Bowdy, Karen Ciano of Quincy Lane, Cakes by Cliff, Sugar Bee Cakes, Desserts by Joey, Bakedown Cakery and Vickie Liu took part in the DT Project, sharing their one-of-a-kind edible works of art on Instagram.
Incredible creations have been submitted by bakers around the country:
They say less is more, however this saying should NEVER be applied to doughnuts my second creation in celebration of @doughnut_time first birthday. This is based on my husbands fav dessert, white chocolate raspberry cheesecake with raspberry sauce, moist coconuts shreds and white chocolate shards. I can tell you it tasted better then it looks #doughnuttime #DTproject #sweatybettypr #doughnuts #donut #raspberry #whitechocolateraspberry #coconut #cheesecake #raspberrysauce #raspberrycheesecake #white #dessert #foodphotography #foodie #foodporn #dessertporn #yum #eats #sweetswithlove
At the end of February, one baker's creations will be chosen, named after its creator and then sold at Doughnut Time for a limited time.
