Could you eat after having a cat-shaped gravy boat 'puke' all over your meal?

There are some weird and wonderful creations in the world but we're really not sure how we feel about this puking kitty gravy boat.

The stoneware creation is called the Puking Kitty Saucy Boat and was launched via Kickstarter by glass designer and artist GingerELA (which consists of couple Ginger and Lewis). As many as 184 backers pledged $14,840 to help bring this project to life — so there is clearly a market for this extremely inventive gravy boat — and it's been sweeping across the Internet as people debate whether it's the greatest or grossest thing they've ever seen.

A video was uploaded to Facebook by Daizy Dizzy showing the gravy boats, which come in black, white, purple and orange, in action. Basically it looks as though a cat is coughing up hairballs and bile all over your delicious Tacos.

The reaction to the video has been pretty mixed.

The creative duo came up with the idea after they witnessed the Barfing Squirrel Gravy Boat posted on Laughing Squid and then drew further inspiration from their own cat Mr. B.

"Mr. B is our kitty and our hobby," the campaign reads. "Since we rescued him 5 years ago he has been the inspiration for many a Mr. B-related project, mostly for our own personal amusement."

However if you were hoping to get your hands on this sauce boat then you're going to be very disappointed, as GingerELA updated their Kickstarter page with this message: "This was a fun project and and [sic] we're glad we got it out there, but if you're looking for a Puking Kitty Saucy Boat, there are no more. This was a one off project and all the original kitty boats have been sold. Thanks so much for checking in and for all the support!"
