Unbeknownst to my toddler, the human body cannot survive on carbs alone.

In addition to other macronutrients and micronutrients, the average adult woman needs to eat about 46 grams of protein per day. The body requires protein to build and repair cells, and it cannot function properly without an adequate intake.
