This holiday season, whip up a batch of skinny eggnog to offset all those cookies

Ah, December. The time of year when calories don't count and cookies and fudge count as a major food group. No... not how things work? OK, maybe a little moderation wouldn't hurt. Take that eggnog, for instance. Full of heavy cream and lots of booze, it's not the lightest drink on the holiday menu. But now, there's a healthier eggnog in town. And you won't feel guilty about downing a glass (or four!) of this skinnier version, even with a shot of brandy in there.

Healthier eggnog recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 1 teaspoons stevia
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Ground nutmeg, to taste
  • 1/8 cup light whipping cream
