As much as we all love coffee, are Lay's cappuccino-flavored chips a stretch?

For those of you who just can't get enough coffee, you can now get your fix at snack time too thanks to the Lay's "Do Us a Flavor" contest.

The second annual contest, for which people can submit new flavor ideas for a chance to win $1 million, has resulted in four finalists. While cheddar bacon mac and cheese, mango salsa and wasabi ginger sound like solid possibilities, I'm not so sure about cappuccino...

I love coffee. I love potato chips. I love putting potato chips on sandwiches. But I have never thought of dipping my salty snack into my cup of joe.

Maybe Lay's knows something I don't. After all, I was skeptical of last year's chicken and waffles flavor until I put away half a bag in 10 minutes. Could cappuccino have the same salty-sweet appeal?
